   Friends, I hope you are all doing well. Today we are talking about the partridge, which is also called the Chinese chicken. This species is spread throughout the plains of Africa.

 They are characterized by a bare neck and head made of bone and small white spots on their wings, their length is 15 to 28 inches and their weight is 700 to 1600 grams.

 It is a human-friendly bird, it is raised in open houses like chickens, its meat is also eaten, rather, it is raised for meat in different parts of the world.

Diet          

      In forests, their food includes seeds, pulp, nuts, etc, and in farming,

 different types of commodities include vegetables and seeds of shrubs, etc.

  And in aviculture, gamebirds feed using fine vegetable, fruit mix commodities     

Aviculture and Breeding 

In most countries, they are farmed for meat and eggs. Their eggs are on average smaller than chicken eggs and their shell is relatively harder than chicken eggs.

 

 The female easily incubates 20 to 30 eggs. The incubation period is about 26 to 28 days.

  After hatching from the eggs, these children are kept in the incubator for 20 hours and then transferred to the brooders.

Brooders maintain a temperature of 33 degrees Celsius in winter and 31 degrees in summer.
