The Silver Pheasants belong to the silver-colored, pheasant family.
They are a magnificent species and are avian birds. Males are white and black in color. The color of their legs is red.
While the female is mainly brown, both males and females have a red face. They are popular in aviculture. And rarely seen in forests

Size and Weight
The length of the male silver pheasant is 29 to 48 inches and the weight is about 1150 grams to 2000 grams.
And the length of the female is 24 to 36 inches and the weight is about 2200 grams to 3000 grams.
The Silver Pheasant average lifespan is 15 to 20 years.

The Silver pheasants are considered to be the best birds in the aviary. One of the reasons is that they are classified as large birds.
Their aviary should also be big. The floor must be deep and there must be vegetation around the aviary. Bushy areas in forests are considered suitable for breeding.
